Tokayev: Ministers and akims must make bold decisions.

"Both ministers and akims must be prepared to make bold decisions. Previously, I set specific tasks for the government. Regarding the socio-economic development of the country, it must independently make the necessary decisions. I demand concrete results," – stated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The president urged ministers and leaders to focus on a number of tasks.

"Currently, we are focused on major infrastructure projects, digitalization, artificial intelligence, and nuclear energy. These are the key strategic directions for the development of our country. The government must necessarily take these important issues into account in its work," - he emphasized.

Today, the head of state, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, visited the project office located in the EXPO campus in Astana. There, he also explained what Darhan Satybaldy will be doing in his Administration.

Today, while speaking at the presentation of the project office, Tokayev reiterated his views on the construction of a nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan, noting that "we need to accelerate" this matter.

In early January, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev gave a lengthy interview to the newspaper "Ana tіlі," where he assessed the government's performance.

"I constantly demand more effective work and courage in decision-making from ministers. Society has high expectations of the government's performance, which is entirely justified and natural. Therefore, the government's work will be evaluated objectively, based on concrete results. The main criterion is the well-being of citizens. If economic achievements do not positively impact people's living standards, then they exist only in virtual reality," - noted Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at that time.

At that time, the president announced an upcoming expanded government meeting, where, according to him, the results of the year will be summarized and all current issues will be addressed.
