President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's working trip to the capital began with a visit to the Kazakhstan International School Astana (KIS Astana).
The educational institution occupies an area of over 20,000 square meters and is designed for 800 students and 120 preschool children. The school holds prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) accreditation, offering three programs: the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for children aged 5 to 11, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for those aged 11 to 16, and the Diploma Programme (IB) for students aged 16 to 19.
The classrooms are equipped with modern technologies that create comfortable conditions for learning and help unlock each student's potential. The school also features sports facilities, including a football stadium, a tennis court, a mini-football field, and two swimming pools.
During the visit, the President emphasized the importance of improving education standards in Kazakhstan, highlighting that such institutions play a crucial role in preparing competitive and well-rounded young individuals.
