The president emphasizes that this holiday "represents the embodiment of goodness and hope," and "unites believers in the name of serving high ideals of humanism."
"On Christmas, human hearts are filled with special joy, Orthodox people strive to surround their loved ones with care and attention, showing mercy and compassion to those in need.
Orthodoxy makes a significant contribution to strengthening the unity and solidarity of our people, promoting the values of patriotism, creation, and responsibility that are the foundation of our national identity.
I am convinced that harmony and mutual understanding in society will remain a reliable foundation for the sustainable progress of Kazakhstan. I wish all Orthodox citizens of our country health, happiness, and success in their noble endeavors!" - stated in Tokayev's congratulatory message.
In his message last year, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed confidence that Orthodox citizens would make a meaningful contribution to building a Just Kazakhstan and forming a new social ethic based on the cult of labor and knowledge, patriotism, solidarity, and mutual responsibility.
It should be noted that on January 7, the Republic of Kazakhstan celebrates the second most significant Christian holiday - Christmas. According to Article 84 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, this day is a day off for all workers in the country, regardless of their nationality and religion.
