According to Akorda’s Telegram channel, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will participate in the "Abu Dhabi Sustainable Development Week" summit from January 14-15, at the invitation of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

It’s noteworthy that Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took part in the opening of the "Abu Dhabi Sustainable Development Week" summit at the beginning of 2023 during his visit to the United Arab Emirates.

During that event, he delivered a speech. In his address, the head of state highlighted the collective goal of addressing sustainable development issues for a cleaner and "greener" future.

Tokayev also emphasized the significance of harnessing nuclear energy potential as one of the key factors in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

In conclusion of his speech, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev urged all summit participants to actively implement "green" projects, mobilize ESG investments, and collaborate in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

Subsequently, a joint statement was issued by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. At that time, both parties reaffirmed the importance of a fruitful economic partnership between the two countries and expressed their intention to further deepen bilateral economic cooperation in line with national interests.
