According to the official Telegram channel of Akorda, the Security Council meeting chaired by the president addressed issues related to the modernization of the army and the enhancement of military infrastructure.

The head of state issued a series of specific instructions for the further development of the Armed Forces.

Recall that last autumn, the Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan made decisions on proposed approaches to enhancing the military potential of the state and equipping the army with modern samples of weapons and military equipment, including those produced by domestic defense industry enterprises.

Earlier, at the end of August, the president held an operational meeting of the Security Council. Tokayev provided a number of specific instructions aimed at strengthening measures to ensure the safety of citizens in our country.

On February 12 of this year, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, met with the Secretary of the Security Council of Russia, Sergey Shoigu. During the meeting, issues of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia in various areas of bilateral partnership and regional security were discussed.

Additionally, the Akorda website states that the Security Council is a constitutional body that coordinates the implementation of a unified state policy in the field of ensuring national security and defense capability of the country, aimed at maintaining internal political stability, protecting the constitutional order, state independence, territorial integrity, and national interests of Kazakhstan on the international stage.
