According to information from the agency, the subway management attempted to shift its tax expenses onto the tenants of commercial spaces by forcing them to sign additional agreements.
“As a result of the prosecutor's inspection, the illegal demands for reimbursement of tax payments were removed from the contracts, and entrepreneurs were refunded a total of 12.5 million tenge. Eleven entrepreneurs were adversely affected by these actions,” the statement reads.
The prosecutor's office also reminds that there is an option to contact mobile groups for the protection of entrepreneurs' rights. The contact information for these groups is available on the official GTP website.
