The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Turkey, Yerkebulan Sapiyev, visited the province of Muğla on a working trip, during which he held meetings with the Governor of Muğla, Idris Akbıyık, the Chief of Police of Muğla, Ali Canbolat, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bülent Karakuş, as well as with the rector of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Turhan Kaçar, and Kazakh students.
Y. Sapiyev informed his interlocutors about the main directions of the political, economic, and social reforms taking place in Kazakhstan under the leadership of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The readiness of Turkish local authorities to assist in expanding trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the regions of Kazakhstan and Turkey was noted.
Additionally, Turkish entrepreneurs were invited to actively participate in the implementation of promising investment projects. In response, representatives of Turkish businesses expressed interest in cooperation and agreed to explore opportunities for investments in agriculture, light industry, and tourism.
During his visit to Muğla University, Y. Sapiyev presented certificates of appreciation to Kazakh students for their active participation in the celebration of Republic Day.
