The section of Bukhar Zhyrau Boulevard in Almaty will be closed for three days.
From November 30 to December 2, the southern section of the intersection of Bukhary Zhyrau Boulevard and Baizakova Street will be closed, along with the stretch of Bukhary Zhyrau Boulevard from Baizakova Street to the Esentai River. This is due to gas pipeline replacement, according to Bizmedia.kz.

According to the Almaty akimat, the underground medium-pressure gas pipeline from Zharokov Street along Bukharyk Zhirau Boulevard to the Yesentai River was put into operation in 1972. Its total length is 1,766.9 linear meters.
During the inspection, damage to the insulation coating was discovered, as well as four through corrosion damages to the pipe.
The replacement work for the gas pipeline is being carried out by the Almaty production branch of JSC "QazaqGaz Aimaq".
