The first inverted house in Kazakhstan and the fourth in the world will be located in Aktau. This unique attraction is set to open in February next year, as reported by Tengri Life, referencing Lada.
A new interactive museum called the "Inverted House" will be established in Aktau. The owner of the project revealed that approvals for the design began back in July of last year, with construction kicking off in September of this year, and it is expected to be completed by February 2025.
"The correct name for the project is the interactive museum 'Inverted House'. Interactive means that visitors can engage with various objects inside the building. It is a museum because it will be designed both outside and inside in a steampunk style. Each object in the house is created from a unique sketch based on this theme, so everything will be one-of-a-kind. The structure itself stands on its roof, inverted, and is tilted as if it has a lean. Inside, everything will be arranged on the 'ceiling'," the owner explained.
According to him, there are similar houses in Kazakhstan located in Almaty, Astana, and Shymkent, but the Aktau house will be unique.
"All these houses are standard, designed as modern homes, and they are single-story. Our house will be distinctive. The height of the house is ten and a half meters at its tallest point, and it is two stories high. The floors will be sloped. Large clocks will be installed on the facade, displaying the current time. Most importantly, everything will be executed in the steampunk style. Everything was made here; we assembled it ourselves, and nothing was brought in," the owner clarified.
Residents of Aktau believe that the house was brought from elsewhere; however, it was constructed right here in Aktau based on standard sketches.
"The thing is, we initially built it horizontally like a regular house. Then, we used two cranes to flip it and set it in place. This further emphasizes the strength, stability, and reliability of the structure," the owner added.
We previously reported on a Kazakhstani who posts videos from his home in the village. Internet users have dubbed it the "Pinterest House." Yesen Zhusupbaev's home in the village of Karazhar has become a true symbol of cozy freedom and has captured the attention of thousands of social media users.
