Requirements for product display in supermarkets across Kazakhstan have been strengthened.

Arman Shakkaliev visited supermarkets in Almaty and noted the arrangement of products on the shelves. He stated that it is essential to strengthen the requirements for product displays to prevent deceiving customers. According to him, items such as milk and dairy drinks, as well as butter and spreads, should not be placed next to each other on the shelves. Half of the shelves should feature products made by Kazakhstani entrepreneurs, and customers should be able to see this through the brand labels.

The Minister was supported by the Chairman of the Trade Committee of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aidar Abildaebekov. He mentioned that steps need to be taken to encourage customers to choose domestic products. In our country, we have 100% self-sufficiency in dairy and agricultural products, including potatoes.
