In Almaty, an additional 8.3 billion tenge will be allocated to ensure social stability. This was announced by the press service of the city's akimat, citing the head of the Almaty Finance Department, Kanat Sukhambeков. Out of this amount, 4 billion tenge is earmarked for the development of the education sector.

Part of the funds will be directed towards completing seismic strengthening and reconstruction works for educational facilities. Specifically, the seismic strengthening of the kindergarten on Si Sinkhay Street and the reconstruction of the kindergarten in the Orbita-3 microdistrict of the Bostandyk district are progressing ahead of schedule. An additional 1 billion tenge will be allocated to complete the construction of these facilities by July 2025.

Funds are also planned for competitive procedures for the construction and reconstruction of 9 educational facilities: three kindergartens in the Alatau and Nauryzbay districts; five schools in the Alatau, Bostandyk, Medeu, and Turkib districts; a center for development and creativity in the Sayaly microdistrict of the Alatau district.

Additionally, there are plans to equip 26 schools with subject stands and desks.

Thus, the additional funds will be used to improve learning conditions and enhance the quality of education in the city.

Furthermore, an additional 460 million tenge has been allocated for the healthcare sector. The majority of this amount is planned to finance 120 grants for training and scholarships for resident students, as well as to cover the education costs and scholarships for 1,206 newly admitted students in seven medical colleges.
