A fire broke out overnight in Almaty’s private sector, engulfing a house, bathhouse, and garage.

The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan clarifies that the incident occurred in the Zhetysu district of the city, on I. Krylov Street.

By the time rescuers arrived, a bathhouse, garage, and private house were on fire, and the flames had spread to a nearby outbuilding.

The timely actions of the firefighters, including the uninterrupted water supply and the use of special equipment, helped to eliminate the threat of the fire spreading to adjacent residential buildings.

The fire was extinguished over an area of 200 square meters.

Recall that earlier the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan warned citizens about the need to comply with fire safety measures.

According to Polisia.kz, the likelihood of technological fires significantly increases in winter.

The agency advises against overheating heating systems and overloading electrical networks with an excessive number of devices turned on simultaneously. Drivers were also reminded of the inadmissibility of using open flames to warm up vehicles.
