In the Atyrau region, a truck collided with a train, reports Caravan.kz, citing the press service of JSC "NC" Kazakhstan Temir Zholy."

“On March 1 at 10:20, at the railway crossing of the Tendyk station, a collision occurred with a freight train due to the negligence of the truck driver. As a result of the accident, members of the locomotive crew were injured. The locomotive and 11 empty cars derailed,” the statement reads.

In 2024, there were 28 traffic accidents at railway crossings due to violations of traffic rules by drivers of motor vehicles.
