Kazakhstan aims to boost oil production to 100 million tons annually starting in 2026.

Satkaliev emphasized the importance of the three largest fields, which account for 65% of Kazakhstan's oil production.

“Since the beginning of their development, total investments have reached approximately $185 billion. According to forecasts, starting from 2026, annual oil production will exceed 100 million tons due to the implementation of major projects such as the expansion of the Tengiz field’s capacity, the construction of a gas processing plant, and other initiatives,” he stated.

The ministry has also developed support measures for mature fields that ensure oil supplies to the domestic market. In particular, the reduction in production in the Mangistau, Aktobe, and Kyzylorda regions is offset by tax incentives with mandatory reinvestment in development and the introduction of new technologies.

“These measures will allow for an additional extraction of about 40 million tons of oil by 2045,” noted Satkaliev.
