Leaders of the state-owned enterprise "Enbek" under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan are suspected of accepting bribes.

By the court's sanction in the city of Astana, the Deputy General Director and the Head of the Construction Department of the Republican State Enterprise "Enbek," which operates under the criminal-executive system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, have been taken into custody.

They are suspected of repeatedly receiving bribes from entrepreneurs in exchange for processing contracts related to government procurement, signing work completion acts, and facilitating payments.

These corruption schemes were uncovered during an investigation conducted by the Anti-Corruption Agency in the city of Astana, in collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Department of Internal Security, in line with ensuring the principles of legality and order in society.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
