The Russian website Allboxing.ru did not overlook the latest fight of Kazakh boxer Sergey Lipinets in the amateur ring, as reported by Sports.kz.
“Former world champion in the super lightweight division Sergey Lipinets lost by technical knockout in the ninth round to promising 22-year-old British boxer Adam Azim on February 1 in London.
The 35-year-old Lipinets was knocked down in the third round, and his subsequent attempts to apply pressure yielded little success. Azim landed more accurate punches, although he was warned twice by the referee for low blows in the fourth and seventh rounds.
In the ninth round, the damage from the received blows forced the referee to stop the fight. This marked the fourth defeat and the second early loss in Sergey Lipinets' career,” the media reports.
