By the decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Court, Shakir Shayahmetov has been appointed as the First Deputy Head of the Judicial Administration. His candidacy has been approved by the Presidential Administration, reports a correspondent from the Kapital.kz business information center, citing the Supreme Court's press service.
Shakir Shayahmetov was born in 1977. He graduated from the Shymkent College of Energy and Business with a degree in "Programming for Electronic Computing Machines and Automated Systems" and from the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan with a degree in "Law".
He completed a research internship at the University of Cambridge under the "Bolashak" program.
He holds a PhD in Law and is an associate professor.
He has held various leadership positions at the Academy of the Committee of the Criminal-Executive System of the Ministry of Justice, the Institute for Advanced Training of Prosecutor's Office Personnel named after S. Eskaraev, and the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor's Office.
In 2023-2024, he serves as the head of the International Relations Department of the Judicial Administration.
