"There were no citizens of Kazakhstan among the passengers," the Foreign Ministry reported.
As a reminder, a tourist yacht sank in the Red Sea near the Egyptian city of Marsa Alam. There were 31 tourists and 14 crew members on board. According to Sky News, 17 people were reported missing, while 28 were rescued.
The governor of the Red Sea province, Major General Amr Hanafi, stated that the survivors were found south of the city, in the Wadi el-Gemal area. They received the necessary medical assistance.
The Egyptian Navy and military aviation were actively involved in the search for the missing.
