The midfielder of the Kazakhstan U-21 national team, David Esimbekov, shared his thoughts on the goals of the Russian "Chornomorets" for the second half of the season in an interview with Meta-ratings.kz, as reported by Sports.kz.
— Does "Chornomorets" want to keep you?
— We'll see, as the team is currently in the upper part of the table. The goal is to qualify for the RPL. Of course, I want to stay and contribute to the team.
It’s worth noting that at the beginning of last year, Esimbekov was on trial with the Cypriot team "Aris," which is led by former "Kairat" coach Alexey Shpilevsky. However, it later became known that the midfielder signed a contract with the Russian "Chornomorets" until 2027.
Esimbekov finished the last season playing for the capital's "Zhenis," where he was on loan. After the season concluded in Kazakhstan, Esimbekov returned to the Novorossiysk "Chornomorets."
