The evaluation of textbooks for the 2025-2026 academic year has been completed.

The Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Education Content Expertise under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan has completed the review of textbooks and teaching materials for the 2025-2026 academic year, according to Bizmedia.kz.

The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan has announced the completion of the review of textbooks that will be implemented in the educational process for the 2025-2036 academic year.

Nazira Abdrakhmanova, the director of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Educational Content Expertise, shared that the most experienced subject teachers and practitioner scholars were selected to participate in the textbook review.

A total of 278 titles of educational materials and methodological complexes were proposed for review, of which 266 were approved. Some changes were made to the new textbooks. For instance, textbooks with Braille and large print were developed for children with special educational needs.

The announcement stated that textbooks for the 4th grade have been revised. New textbooks on digital literacy, Russian, and foreign languages have been created, as well as textbooks for schools with instruction in Uyghur and Uzbek languages.

Director Nazira Abdrakhmanova emphasized that the evaluation of the proposed textbooks was conducted based on strict criteria and a thorough analysis of their compliance with the requirements of the modern educational process. For the first time, anthologies, workbooks, and both handout and demonstration materials underwent review.
