The press service of the Ministry of Transport reported that the international expert commission continues its investigation into the plane crash on a daily basis. In accordance with Kazakhstan's legislation and Appendix No. 13 of ICAO, a preliminary report will be provided within the stipulated timeframe, that is, 30 days after the incident. Additionally, as per this appendix, the investigation is expected to be completed within 12 months.
It has been reported that experts from Brazil's Center for Aviation Accident Investigation and Prevention (CENIPA) and representatives from the manufacturing plant, who previously arrived in Kazakhstan, flew back to Brazil on December 30 with the black box (flight recorders) for analysis. Currently, the decoding of the black box is already underway.
We remind you that on December 25, an Azerbaijan Airlines plane crashed near Aktau while en route to Grozny from Baku. There were 62 passengers and 5 crew members on board. 29 people survived. Unfortunately, all the Kazakhstanis on board perished.
