Famous MMA fighter from Kazakhstan Jalgas Zhumagulov shared his thoughts on the upcoming match between Asu Almbayev and Angolan fighter Manel Kape (20-7) in the UFC, as reported by Sports.kz referencing Sportnews.kz.

“A lot will depend on who establishes their distance and style of fighting. The chances are 50% to 50%. I fought Kape. I have always noted that he has the strongest striking abilities. He is physically strong and hits hard. Right now, he is the toughest opponent in Asu's career, and he needs to demonstrate his level as a fighter,” said Jalgas Zhumagulov.

It is worth mentioning that Zhumagulov lost to Kape in 2021 at the UFC Vegas 44 tournament. The fight ended with Manel winning by technical knockout in the first round.
