UFC star responded to the announcement of his fight with a native of Kazakhstan.

Two-time title contender in the UFC lightweight division (up to 70 kg), American Justin Gaethje, commented on the announcement of his rematch with Kazakhstan native Rafael Fiziev, which is set to take place on March 9 at the UFC 313 tournament in Las Vegas (USA), as reported by Sports.kz citing Championat.com.

Initially, Gaethje was supposed to face Australian Dan Hooker, but he withdrew from the fight due to an arm injury.

“Arman and Charles understandably said ‘no’. Max and Dustin understandably said ‘no’. Moicano said ‘no’. I respect Fiziev for deciding to fly across the world and take this fight. A rematch with an elite striker is a big risk for me. Life is a journey,” Gaethje wrote on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
