According to distributors, the comedy "Zamanback," directed by Serik Ibragimov, has grossed 1,044,000,000 tenge in domestic theaters over 18 days of release, with 46% of that, specifically 480,000,000 tenge, coming from Kinopark and Kinoplexx cinemas. "Zamanback" has become the 10th Kazakhstani film to surpass the one billion tenge mark at the box office.

The second film that is heading towards the billion mark, according to cinema exhibitors, is the comedy "Kettik barin tasta." Launched on October 31, the film has already earned 406,000,000 tenge in just four days of release, with 50% of that, or 203,000,000 tenge, coming from Kinopark and Kinoplexx theaters.

The main roles in the comedy "Zamanback" were played by popular actors Ramazan Amantai, Baktygul Serikbaeva, Zhasulan Ayten, and others. The film's plot revolves around the relationship between a father and son, taking viewers from the present day back to the early 90s.

The story of "Kettik barin tasta" centers on two unsuccessful actors, Kanybek and Kairolla. As they head to Tashkent, they have no idea that instead of filming a movie, they will encounter real criminals. The main roles are played by Kairat Adilgerey, Kanat Alzhaparov, Ualibek Abdrayimov, Diana Yagofarova, Kanai Nurbolat, and others.
