The Technovation Girls program, which has inspired over 2,000 schoolgirls in Kazakhstan to create innovations aimed at solving social issues over the past eight years, announces the start of mentor recruitment for the new season.
The program is supported by Yandex Qazaqstan , providing participants with access to modern tools and knowledge that enhance their understanding of technology and its application in addressing social challenges. As part of Yandex Qazaqstan's support, interactive lectures and webinars featuring practicing experts, as well as training in teamwork and communication, are organized. These events, available in Kazakh and Russian, enable schoolgirls from all regions of Kazakhstan to acquire key skills necessary for developing and implementing successful projects.
In October 2024, an eight-member team from Kazakhstan won the "Technical Prize" at the Technovation Girls Global Summit finals in Silicon Valley, USA. Their project, the IHear mobile application, utilizes artificial intelligence to assist children with cochlear implants, and was recognized as one of the most technically robust solutions.
These achievements were made possible not only by the girls' talent but also by the efforts of their mentors. Mentors play a crucial role: they inspire, support, and help teams achieve world-class results.
In the new season, the top projects and their mentors will have a unique opportunity to present their developments in Silicon Valley, USA, at the global finals of the program.
Who can become a mentor?
We invite individuals who are willing to share their experiences and inspire schoolgirls, helping them unlock their potential.
● Professionals in IT, business, design, education, and other fields.
● Anyone interested in fostering technology and entrepreneurship among schoolgirls.
● Experience in app development or entrepreneurship is welcomed but not mandatory.

● Guiding the team of girls through all stages of product development: from idea to finished application or AI solution.
