Changes have been made to the order of the Minister of Internal Affairs dated March 30, 2020, No. 267 "On the approval of the rules for providing state services regarding the documentation and registration of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan."
According to the new regulation, the agency plans to implement a new function - issuing information about the presence (or absence) of registration at the place of residence.
Additionally, the published document contains the rules for providing this state service to individuals.
"When accessing the portal, the service recipient is authenticated using their IIN and password, selects the service, and formulates the request data, chooses an electronic digital signature (EDS), and certifies (signs) the request using the EDS.
A notification-report regarding the acceptance of the request and the result of providing the state service in electronic form is sent to the service recipient's 'personal account.' In the event of incorrect information being identified, the service recipient should contact the address information correction service on the portal," the draft document states.
In May of last year, it was reported that the Ministry of Internal Affairs plans to launch the "Car History" service connected to the Unified Insurance Database, which would allow Kazakhstani citizens to find out if a used car had been involved in an accident before purchasing it.
Meanwhile, since the beginning of October, a campaign has been launched in Kazakhstan to assist residents of the country who do not possess any personal identification documents.
In May, we reported on the establishment of new police departments across the country.
