The chairman of the Astana maslikhat, Erlan Kanalimov, published a post on Facebook.
"An honorary citizen of the city of Astana, a deputy and secretary of the city maslikhat, a senator, and a public and political figure. Our friend and colleague, Vladimir Nikolayevich Redkokashin, passed away at the age of 76, a person you could always turn to for advice. A person who generously shared his extensive experience," Kanalimov reported.
According to him, last week, ahead of Republic Day, Vladimir Redkokashin was to be awarded a state honor - the Order of "Barys II degree," but due to illness, he was unable to receive it in person.
"As a native resident, he always cared deeply for his hometown. What Astana has achieved over the years is greatly attributed to him. His memory will forever remain in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Vladimir Nikolayevich," Kanalimov concluded his post.
According to information published in the "Lawyer" information system, Vladimir Nikolayevich Redkokashin was born in 1948 in Akmolinsk.
Over the years, he worked as a welder, driver, director of the Youth Palace, instructor at the Tselinograd regional party committee, and head of the culture department of Akmolinsk region. He also worked in private business.
From 2003 to 2011, he served as the secretary of the Astana city maslikhat.
From 2011 to 2017, he was a deputy in the Senate of the RK parliament.
