The National Academy of Education named after Altynsarin has signed memorandums with two leading Big Tech companies – Google for Education and Microsoft. This partnership will enable the implementation of innovative solutions to enhance the quality of education, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education.
With Google for Education, the aim is to optimize the work of educators and utilize advanced tools for organizing the learning process, which will expand the digital capabilities of Kazakhstani students. The collaboration with Microsoft includes the development and implementation of cloud technologies, as well as improving digital literacy among teachers and students.
“The signing of memorandums with the global offices of the largest tech companies marks an important step in the digital transformation of the education system. Special attention within this partnership will be given to the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence in the educational environment, which is crucial for integrating modern technologies into the learning process,” noted Azamat Jumakmet, Vice President of the Altynsarin Academy.
As a reminder, in January of last year, the Minister of Education, Gani Beysembayev, met with representatives of the company, where the parties agreed on further cooperation. A year earlier, the Altynsarin Academy implemented a joint project with Microsoft in the North Kazakhstan region aimed at developing the potential of small schools.
