The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, discussed the implementation of agreements regarding the development of artificial intelligence technologies in Kazakhstan with Peng Xiao, the chairman of G42, as reported by the press service of Akorda.
The interlocutors talked about the prospects of cooperation in the implementation of the Smart City system, aimed at improving the quality of life for urban residents through modern technological solutions.
Additionally, they explored further opportunities for enhancing collaboration between Kazakhstan and G42 in the field of innovative technologies and the creation of smart infrastructures.
In 2023, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had already met with representatives of Presight (G42). At that time, it was reported that the company was actively negotiating with JSC "Samruk-Kazyna" to establish a joint venture. The project aims to implement digital solutions to improve the efficiency of the fund's subsidiaries and production enterprises, create a hub for computing power to advance AI, and enhance the qualifications of specialists. The head of state invited AI Brain, a subsidiary of the G42 holding, to partner with the Institute of Artificial Intelligence at Nazarbayev University.
