Pneumatic spraying technology used for sealing cracks and potholes promises to enhance the efficiency of repair works and extend the lifespan of the surface in cold weather conditions. BCM-24.5 is designed for specialized emergency repairs of road surfaces, utilizing gravel and bituminous emulsion—a mixture of bitumen and water with added emulsifiers, ensuring good adhesion to the surface and applicable at low temperatures.

"It is important to note that this technology allows us to work and carry out patch repairs down to -10 degrees. Additionally, this emulsion already contains water, which means that dry weather is not a necessity," — stated Khasar Khabylbekov.

The method does not require prior preparation of the damaged surface, significantly reducing the time needed for repair work. The Akim emphasizes that the process of repairing one average damage using the new equipment takes only 2-2.5 minutes. Thanks to this pace, repair crews will be able to promptly respond to the emergence of new damages and eliminate them in the shortest possible time.

The new technology promises to improve the quality of road surfaces, particularly during the cold season when traditional repair methods often prove ineffective due to temperature fluctuations and frosts. The Akim of the city, Khasar Khabylbekov, has instructed specialists to monitor all problematic areas, including intra-block and courtyard territories. Special attention will be given to intra-block drives and adjacent areas that also require repairs.

It is anticipated that the new equipment will help reduce road maintenance costs and enhance safety on the city's roads.
